We put up our tree last night. We made the chain around the tree. That was Mason's idea. They did a good job decorating it. I didn't have to move to much stuff around.

Gingerbread Houses

We made these little house's over Thanksgiving weekend. The boys have been begging to make gingerbread houses, but I wouldn't let them until after Thanksgiving. They ate more candy then they used on their houses. :)

Sean drew his first letter. :) He was very proud. He drew a pretty good B this morning too. The big mouth open is what he does when you say big smile. And that is a picture of a turkey sitting down he said. :) (Mason wanted his turkey picture up to)

Adventures in Sewing

I guess I've really gotten into the Apron thing. :) Now I've expanded into making matching potholder's with the leftover material. My next project is a Christmas Apron. I don't have one of those yet.

Painting Pumpkins

I let the boys pick a pumpkin to paint. Sean's is the first one and then Mason's. Mason gave his a blue mustache. I took the pictures before you couldn't see the faces anymore. Mason wants to carve one, but I don't think so. :) Maybe in a few more years. He says when he's eight he can. He's on a count down to everything. He's already talking about driving when he turns sixteen.
:( He wants to grow up so fast.

Picking Pumpkins

We picked the pumpkins from our garden today. The snow this weekend killed all the plants. I still have three pumpkins growing, but I don't know if there going to turn orange. The tomato's are looking pretty good, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. We took these pictures after we picked the pumpkins.

Hallway Sleeper

This is where I found Sean taking his nap last week. It's becoming a habit. I'll put him down for a nap in his bed and then I find him sleeping somewhere else. Has anyone else had this happen?

Painting Fun

I had the boys paint some Halloween stuff last night. They each painted a haunted house and a mask. It was their first time using paints that don't wash out of clothes so I was a little scared, but they did great. Not one drop of paint on their clothes. They kept asking for more stuff to paint, but that was all I had. I'm sure we'll do more in the future.

Sean's Birthday

Our most recent family event was Sean's 3rd birthday. Both the boys were very excited about this party. We had a carnival/circus party. The games included pin the tail on the Lion, football throw and a bean bag toss. And don't forget the alligator pinata. Which fell to the ground after only 3 hits. So I just ripped it open and threw the candy on the ground. The kids don't care as long as they get the candy. :) We couldn't find any circus style pinata's so I just let Sean pick what he wanted. The kids had a lot of fun.
