I guess I've really gotten into the Apron thing. :) Now I've expanded into making matching potholder's with the leftover material. My next project is a Christmas Apron. I don't have one of those yet.
I let the boys pick a pumpkin to paint. Sean's is the first one and then Mason's. Mason gave his a blue mustache. I took the pictures before you couldn't see the faces anymore. Mason wants to carve one, but I don't think so. :) Maybe in a few more years. He says when he's eight he can. He's on a count down to everything. He's already talking about driving when he turns sixteen.
We picked the pumpkins from our garden today. The snow this weekend killed all the plants. I still have three pumpkins growing, but I don't know if there going to turn orange. The tomato's are looking pretty good, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. We took these pictures after we picked the pumpkins.
This is where I found Sean taking his nap last week. It's becoming a habit. I'll put him down for a nap in his bed and then I find him sleeping somewhere else. Has anyone else had this happen?
I had the boys paint some Halloween stuff last night. They each painted a haunted house and a mask. It was their first time using paints that don't wash out of clothes so I was a little scared, but they did great. Not one drop of paint on their clothes. They kept asking for more stuff to paint, but that was all I had. I'm sure we'll do more in the future.
